A client recently asked me how it is possible for us to connect with each other psychically and gather insight from the spirit world. My response is that we are all part of one great spiritual network which enables us to tune in to far more information and guidance than we experience when focused upon separateness.

As we exhale, we cast off particles. As we inhale, we breath in particles from our environment and everything within it. In truth, we are constantly in exchange with each other and have access to so much more information than we ever imagined possible. When we open ourselves up to the truth about our interconnectedness as well as the love and insight of the spirit world, we can secure guidance that helps us to navigate life and become our very best selves. I was recently reading about the quantum physics concept of “entanglement”, i.e. the fact that everything is connected. Everything was entangled at the moment of the big bang. In other words, everything is still touching. I love this quote from the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know”: “Space is just a construct that gives the illusion that there are separate objects”.

Apologies for not blogging recently – I have been busy working with clients and had the opportunity to acquire part of a wonderful healing center in the USA. Sometimes we all get so busy pursuing our work that we forget the value of the current moment. I, for sure, don’t set the best example of work-life balance, but I am learning each day from clients here on earth and in the spirit world how important it is to appreciate what we have now rather than always striving towards the future.  One of my greatest lessons is learning to be present for myself and the people that I love.  I remember a wise friend once saying to me “the past is history, the future is a mystery and now is a gift – that’s why we call it the present”. I don’t recall where this wonderful quote originates, but I love it.

I spend all day, every day, working with people who are searching for comfort – looking for the truth and light amidst the clouds and challenges of their lives here on earth.  Often they are searching for evidence that someone they have loved continues to exist. It is my great honor to work with the spirit world to prove that that there is no such thing as death.  The thirteenth tarot card is “death”, but its significance is actually “transformation”.  When we pass from this life to the next, we undergo a transition – a passage into a blissful world and a higher state.

The lessons of life can be tough.  We come to this planet as it is easier to fully experience oneself. I hesitate to use the plural “ourselves” as I know that we are one.  That’s why when we feel offended or angry with another person, it is because we see something that we must address in our own development.  We are here to grow stronger, to become greater, and to transform.

As I reflect on my personal and professional year to date, I recall the number of times that people have said “I wish I had behaved differently”; “I wish that he knew how much I loved him” etc.  I recently lost a great friend and partner, not to the spirit world, but because of perceived incompatibility and an inability to evolve beyond each other’s dysfunctional behaviors. The end of a relationship, whether to spirit or within this physical world, is a great bereavement. My guides say that our bereavement should be replaced with gratitude for transformation and a recognition that, as one great spirit, we cannot and do not lose anyone.  We simply transform and evolve.  Whether you mourn the loss of a friend, colleague, family member or lover, offer yourself healing with the knowledge that we are one and that one can never lose oneself.  Also take a moment to express gratitude, compassion, a willingness to listen, compromise, truly hear each other and value what is so precious now because tomorrow it may transform.

I felt really uplifted this afternoon by the beautiful You Tube video below about a Royal Air Force pilot who received wonderful evidence of his friend’s continued existence in the spirit world.  It reminded me of a conversation with a lady at the mall who looked at me and said that she had lost her husband.  My guides’ response to her was immediate: “You have not lost George and never will”.  Her eyes welled up with tears, and then she smiled with relief and asked “How do you know his name?”. My response: “I just listen”.

Messages from the spirit world come in many forms. The more we become aware of the spirit world’s methods of communication, the more insight and guidance we receive in life.  My grandmother passed to spirit just as I was considering relocating from the UK to the USA, so I asked her to give me a sign during my first trip to the States if she felt that the move was a good opportunity for me.  Just after landing in Tennessee, I passed through customs, collected my suitcase and took a cab.  Driving away from the airport, just a mile down the road, I was shocked to see a broken Brampton hotel sign.  As we drove past, I was staggered but very comforted to see my name “Frampton” lit up for my arrival in the new home town of my choice. Looking up to the stars I said “thanks Nana – I know I asked for a sign, but it didn’t have to literally be a sign.”

Recently, my sister’s partner fell ill with appendicitis just before the birth of their new daughter.  My mother asked for confirmation from the spirit world that he would receive the treatment that he required and recover well in time for the birth.  Moments later, my stepfather entered the room  to show her a crossword puzzle.  The solution to the last clue was “Vera” – my grandmother’s first name.  My grandmother often synchronistically appears in crosswords to provide confirmation that she is present and taking care of the family. Even my highly skeptical step father talks of these occurrences.  Just before my grandmother’s passing, my mother asked for her father to draw close from the spirit world.  Moments later, my stepfather appeared with another crossword.  The solution to the final clue was “Cyril” – my grandfather’s name.

As I was writing this blog about the innovative methods spirit choose to communicate with us, my stepfather entered the room with another crossword.  One cryptic clue was “rode off after this man to find a docker”.  The answer: Steve.  The next clue was “called in a medium to grasp the answer”.

Open yourself up to the spirit world’s exciting and innovative forms of communication and you will receive regular guidance to help you and your loved ones make the right decisions in life.  We are never alone…

When clients ask me how it is possible to communicate with people that have passed to spirit, I intuitively answer “it is possible because we are all interconnected”. Wonderful scientists, such as Dean Radin, are working tirelessly to provide scientific substantiation of psychic ability. I am convinced that we will also receive scientific proof of life after death and mediumship in the 21st century.

This afternoon, I was reading “The Divine Matrix” by Greg Braden because I am fascinated by quantum physics. Braden tells the story of a man named Joey who had not communicated with his father since the age of 19 due to a disagreement about the family’s traditional Jewish beliefs. Shortly after Joey’s father passed to the spirit world, an incredible occurrence proved that he continued to exist. Here is an extract from the story:

“Joey found himself at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, the portion of an ancient temple enclosure that remained following the temple’s destruction nearly 2,000 years ago. It’s here that Orthodox Jews go to worship each day, repeating the words of the same prayers that have been spoken for centuries.

Joey had written a note to his father, declaring his love and asking forgiveness for the pain that he had caused, he’d planned to leave his note in one of the many cracks and crevices that were formed when the original mortar fell away from the stones. It was when Joey found just the right place to leave his note that something amazing happened – something that has no rational explanation in the eyes of traditional Western science.

As Joey put his note in the wall, another paper suddenly fell from between the stones, landing at his feet. It was a prayer that someone else had written and placed in the wall weeks or possibly even months before. As Joey reached for the rolled-up paper, an odd feeling overcame him.

When Joey opened the note and began to read its contents, he recognized the handwriting – it was his father’s! The note that Joey held was one that his dad had written and left in the wall before his death. In it, he declared his love for his son and asked God for forgiveness. At some time in the not-too-distant past, Joey’s father had traveled to the very spot where Joey found himself at that moment. In an ironic twist of synchronicity, his father had placed his prayer in that same precise location within the wall, where it had remained until Joey walked by.”

“What a powerful story! How could such an extraordinary thing have happened? Obviously, there must be some kind of communication happening between realities and worlds. Joey lives in the realm of the present that we call “the world”. Although his father was no longer alive, Judaism believes that he still exists in the other realm, the ha-shamayim, or heaven, which lies beyond our world. Both realms are thought to co-exist in the present and to be in communication with one another.”

Braden goes on to state “once something is joined, it is always connected, whether it remains physically linked or not.” Thinking this weekend of my sister giving birth to her daughter, I am reminded of the umbilical cord that connects a mother to her child. Some of the most powerful mediumship sittings that I have experienced have involved a parent and child. Perhaps there is no stronger connection? Perhaps, just as twin photons remain connected regardless of distance, it is the same phenomenon that will explain how we are able to communicate with those we love in the spirit world?

I have been reading a wonderful book by Marlo Morgan entitled “Mutant Message Down Under”.  It is the story of an American woman who is welcomed by a remote tribe of nomadic Aboriginals who call themselves “the Real People”.  She accompanied them on a four-month-long walk through the Australian outback learning about their culture and beliefs.  Here is a fascinating quote from chapter 8 entitled “Cordless Phone”:

“We faced east in our morning prayer service and gave thanks for all our blessings. We sent our daily message out to the food kingdom.

One of the younger men took a turn in the center. It was explained he had offered to perform a special task that day. He left the camp early and ran on ahead. We had walked several hours when the Elder stopped and fell to his knees. Everyone gathered around as he remained in the kneeling position, his arms held out in front, gently swaying. I asked Ooota what was happening. He motioned for me to remain quiet. No one was saying anything but all their faces were intent. Finally, Ooota turned to me and said the young scout who had left us earlier was sending in a message. He was asking permission to cut the tail of the kangaroo he had killed.

It finally dawned on me why it was quiet every day as we walked. These people used mental telepathy to communicate most of the time.  I was witnessing it. There was absolutely no sound to be heard, but messages were being relayed between people twenty miles apart.

“Why does he want to remove the tail?” I asked.

“Because it is the heaviest part of the kangaroo, and he is too ill to carry the animal comfortably.  It is taller than he is, and he is telling us that the water he stopped to drink was foul and has caused his body to become too hot. He has beads of fluid coming from his face.

A silent telepathic reply was sent.  Ooota advised me we would stop for the day. The people began to dig a pit in preparation for the large meat we would be receiving. Others began preparing herbal medication under the instructions of Medicine Man and Female Healer.

Several hours later, into our camp walked the young man, carrying the huge gutted kangaroo minus a tail… It was really remarkable. If I had not witnessed it myself, it would have been hard to believe.  I told Ooota how I felt. He smiled and said “Now you know how it feels to a native the first time they go into the city and see you put a coin into the phone, dial a number, and start talking to your relative. The native thinks that is incredible.

Mental telepathy – it is the way human beings were designed to communicate.”

Surrounding every living body there is a “halo” or  aura which may be seen under certain exceptional circumstances. Clairvoyants have always contended that they could see this aura, surrounding human beings. Both magnets and crystals give off a very noticeable aura which can been seen by those possessing even moderate psychic ability. In 1911, Dr. Kilner, the electrician of St. Thomas’ hospital, London, showed that it is possible for anyone to see the aura, issuing from a living human being, by means of especially prepared glass slides, containing a chemical named ‘Dicyanin’.

The human aura consists of a number of layers, or strata, beyond the other, extending out into space. First, the “etheric double” seen like a dark line, slightly grey in color, which extends over the whole body, conforming exactly to its shape. Beyond this extends the “inner aura” which is usually two or three inches broad. It conforms to the contour of the body throughout and is more or less colored by the health of the individual and by the mental or emotional states present at the time. Beyond this is the “outer aura”, beginning where the inner aura ceases, and extending from three to six inches, as a rule, before it becomes invisible. It extends slightly further in the case of women than it does in men. This aura is very variable, and is greatly influenced by all the mental and psychic conditions of the person to whom it belongs. Its colors vary also very greatly.

The best way to train yourself to see the aura is to view a horseshoe magnet or crystal. Look at the edge of the magnet or crystal with one eye gradually approaching it and then sliding it away from you, until you obtain the best focus of vision. Look steadily along the same point, until it dawns on you that a kind of quivering, narrow band of mist or vapor is flowing from the object. As soon as you realize the presence on the edge of the magnet or crystal, of this current of vaporous mist, the first psychic visual victory has been obtained, and the perception of the other phenomena associated with the aura will only need time, perseverance, and practice. Once the magnet or crystal is conquered, you can expect to speedily obtain the sight of the beautiful and intricate currents of the human body.

In recent times, I have received an increasing number of enquiries about poltergeist activity. Hence this blog focused upon poltergeists, including guidance on how to avoid and eliminate such activity. A poltergeist is a spirit manifesting its presence by noises and acts of mischief, such as throwing furniture. Living in a home with poltergeist activity can be a very frightening experience. Cupboards fly open, dishes fly across the room and break, wall hangings rattle or fall. Normally, a specific member of the family will be targeted because poltergeists are person focused, unlike a haunting which is location focused. People are usually frantic to move or rid their house of such a frightening spirit or energy.

A poltergeist generally lasts days or a few weeks. However, between 1977 and 1978 the British nation was stunned by one of the world’s most schockingly infamous cases. It is known as the Enfield poltergeist – everything that one has ever heard of a poltergeist occurred in this case. A seemingly normal family home bore witness to decidedly abnormal activity. There were documented reports of levitation and possession of the family’s daughter who spoke with a completely different voice. Some of the discourse was captured on tape by official investigators from the British Society for Psychical Research. The sofa would flip over and chairs would be thrown across the room.

The police were called out one evening to inspect the house. They are on record as having seen a chair move across a room and heard knocking on the walls. The police were considerate but powerless to deal with the situation. Marbles and toys began flying around in mid air. A local medium and vicar were called out but were too scared to get involved. Poltergeists begin with knocking and rapping on the walls. They then begin to throw small objects followed by movement and levitation of larger objects such as tables and chairs. Poltergeist activity is very rare and it is very hard to tell why they focus upon any particular victim. Generally, there is tension in the family or break up of parents combined with the high psychokinetic energy of hormonal children.

Even newspaper reporters experienced activity at the home in Enfield. One of them was assaulted by a yellow Lego brick thrown at his face by the poltergeist. Witnesses from very different backgrounds, including the British Society for Psychical Research, verified the presence of the Enfield poltergeist that took 12 months to withdraw.

These are ways to avoid and deal with poltergeist activity:

1. Keep stress levels low
2. Do not use ouija boards, tarot cards or seances to communicate
3. Pray for the Archangels to protect your home
4. Do not communicate with the poltergeist – leave this to the professionals
5. Do not speak of the poltergeist or give it your attention
6. Engage professionals to investigate and manage the case

At the end of a recent meditation, I asked my guides to tell me which direction to take regarding an important decision. My main spirit guide “Arthur” gave me the answer “it’s all just an illusion, so you choose…”. My guides often give me mind-boggling input – I have automatic writing from childhood that I still haven’t demystified.  On this particular occasion, I did some internet research about the word “illusion”.  I stumbled once again across the belief that the religions of the East have long upheld: the material world is Maya, an illusion, and although we may think we are physical beings moving through a physical world, this too is an illusion.

Are we swimming in a kaleidoscopic sea of frequency? The combined work of Bohm and Pigram is known as “the holographic paradigm”.  This new paradigm outlines the proposition that our individual brains are indivisible portions of the greater hologram and that everything is infinitely interconnected.  This could explain telepathy (how information can travel from the mind of individual ‘A’ to that of individual ‘B’ regardless of distance).  It could also explain mediumship and other phenomena experienced during altered states of consciousness.

I often say to clients that we have the support of the entire spirit world.  Whether we want to write a book or to help somone heal, we can ask our spirit guides to help us with inspiration, information, and even energy. Surfing the internet sniffling with my winter cold, I stumbled across the incredible story of Daniel Tammet known as “the boy with the incredible brain”. Daniel sees shapes and patterns in his mind’s eye that give him the answers to highly complex mathematical equations.  He does this without thinking and has even reeled off the first 22,000 decimal places of the pi calculation without a single mistake.  Daniel’s story reminded me of advice that my guides gave me about mediumship: “it is not your role to think – you are merely the channel”.

Daniel’s description of “sparks of light” reminded me of the sparks of light that become visible when a spirit person draws close in order to communicate evidence of the afterlife.  Perhaps Daniel is accessing the universal consciousness?  Perhaps mediums navigate the hologram to connect clients with their loved ones?

I am really excited about interviewing Pamela Heath on Psychic Access Talk Radio Thursday 16th December! Pamela has practiced medicine for nearly thirty years and is the co-founder of the Paranormal Research Organization. In preparation for the show, I have been reading the incredible book that she wrote with John Klimo: Handbook to the Afterlife. This book contains a vast array of fascinating information about the afterlife based upon research of more than 200 years of mediumship. Pamela and Jon give the best explanation of mediumship that I have ever seen:

“For at least 2,500 years, and across virtually all countries, cultures, and peoples, one can find thousands of stories and reports of individuals who claim, or who have had claims made of them, that they are receiving messages from spirits who exist on some other kind of level of reality than our own here on physical earth.”

“The term mediumship was coined in the nineteenth century to refer to a process whereby a physically embodied person, called a medium, serves as a mediator or vehicle for communication or information said to be originating with human spirits that have survived the deaths of their physical bodies and are now existing in some kind of transcendent afterlife spirit realm. Usually the medium enters an altered state of consciousness in order for this process to take place. Often, such an altered state of consciousness is deep enough to be referred to as a trance state and the medium is called a trance medium. Entering such a trance state, the medium usually loses consciousness and afterward does not remember what took place during the experience. This was especially the case during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. More recently, mediums seem less likely to need to enter an unconscious state in order to connect with their non-physical sources; they can maintain a relatively conscious state, thus qualifying as conscious or light trance mediums.”

“Psychologists would call such a trance, or even a light trance, a dissociated state, an interlude separated and disconnected from the normal waking consciousness, awareness, and functioning personality and identity that preceded and followed it. Upon relinquishing normal consciousness and personality, most full-trance mediums then serve as a temporary vehicle by means of which the discarnate spirit may communicate using the language and speech generation sectors of the medium’s brain, larynx, and related cognitive and linguistic resources.”

“Some mediums, rather than going into an unconscious trance, are able to operate with partial or complete awareness during the process of mediating the communication stemming from the human spirit now residing in the non- or trans-physical afterlife level of reality. In what is called a clairaudient process, the conscious medium may hear with “the mind’s ear” the voice of the communicator or information source and simply relay it like a relatively simultaneous translation process, repeating, phrase by phrase, what is heard. Or the medium may operate in a telepathic manner, tuning into mental messages conveyed through thought forms and feeling forms that the medium must then translate into verbal language to be written down or to be spoken to others present. Alternatively, the medium may operate in a clairvoyant manner, “seeing with the mind’s eye”, receiving information in some kind of visual or imagistic or mental imaging way not involving normal open-eyed perception.”

A friend of mine mentioned the Aberfan coal landslide to me during a telephone conversation last week. I remember both my grandmother and school teachers telling stories of this disaster when I as a child in North Wales, so I decided to read a little more about this tragic event. 28 adults and 116 children were killed on October 21st 1966 when coal waste fell down the mountain covering the local school. I discovered that surveys after the event revealed approximately 200 cases of premonitions of the looming disaster…

A premonition is a prophetic and impressionable forewarning of a future event. You may recall a previous blog in which I referred to Abraham Lincoln’s premonition in dream state about his own assassination. The great Russian Psychic Wolfgang Messing also had a strong premonition of impending doom during a visit to Ashkhabad. He cut his trip short and cancelled his demonstrations. Three days later, Ashkhabad was destroyed by a gigantic earthquake that killed 50,000 people. Some of the worst disasters in history have been foretold by human beings who experience premonitions. Who would have imagined that the unsinkable Titanic could sink on her maiden voyage in 1912? 14 years before that tragic day, a booked entitled “Futility” was published – it told of the largest ship afloat, rich and famous passengers, a collision with an iceberg, and an insufficient supply of life boats…

Perhaps the most famous premonitions are those of Michel de Nostradamus – the reputed seer that we still speak of today around the world. Nostradamus foresaw World War II, JFK’s assassination, and the fall of communism. His book “The Prophecies” was first published in 1555. Apart from the bible, it is the only prophetic work to remain in print since the 16th century. Nostradamus discovered his specials gifts at an early age and began to predict birth dates and the sex of unborn children. He was also summoned by Catherine de Medici (King Henry II’s queen) to read astrological charts as an unofficial court advisor.
