I was just putting together a new exercise for one of my online classes and decided to share!
This exercise is called “Go Fish for Talent”. I will share the second exercise “Go Fish for Opportunity” next time.
If you sit down quietly, close your eyes and relax, you can see yourself quite clearly. You know yourself relatively well. Even more information and answers lie in your unconscious, but how often do you take time out to deliberately go there?
Get a notepad and pen. Take an hour to relax in meditation. Drift out of meditation when you have an important realization to write in your notepad. Once you have documented it, go back into meditation for more.
As you relax, ask yourself “what are my greatest natural talents?”. What are my best characteristics and behaviors? How have they benefited me in the past? How do they continue to benefit me?
You need a strong understanding of astrology if you want to do the second part of the exercise below. You need an understanding of tarot for the third part of the exercise below. If you don’t work with astrology or tarot, scroll to the bottom.
You can find a great overview of basic astrology in my book.
Part 2 – Astrology
Put your notebook away. Later in the day or week, when you feel relaxed and have some down time, go back to your notepad. Reflect upon your notes – reword them if you need to. Now, go fish for talent!
Focus on one item at a time. Take your natal chart and astrodynes. Identify the astrological factors that describe what you have written on your notepad. Get ready to write a lot more in that notepad!
Which sign is the planet under?
What is the planet’s essential dignity under this sign?
Is the sign masculine or feminine?
Is it cardinal, mutable, or fixed?
Is it a personal, interpersonal, or transpersonal sign?
Is it earth, fire, air, or water?
How does it function under this sign?
Which house is the planet under? In other words, in which part of your life and psyche does it operate?
Now consider what aspects this planet forms to other planets and parts of your chart. Look at the aspects one at a time.
Is the aspect harmonious or discordant?
What is the nature of the other planet(s) involved?
Why do they work or not work well together? Is another planet supporting or encouraging talent? Or is it getting in your way?
Which other parts of your chart are involved by nature of cusp rulership?
What are the consequences of all this?
How does it contribute to the realization(s) that you identified in meditation?
How do you now better understand the natural talent that you originally identified in meditation?
Capture your insights in that notebook!
Part 3 – Tarot
Now take your tarot deck. Get ready to shuffle it really well. As you shuffle the cards, ask for guidance about the particular talent that you have been addressing. Make sure that your question is clear. For example, “what can I do to put my natural talent (state what the talent is) to work?”.
Lay out the five card spread. Take a photograph of the spread if you like and attach it to your notepad. Now reflect. Allow your mind to become more passive and let insights from the card spread flow to you. Make more notes on the guidance that you receive. What do these cards tell you about the matter at hand?
Part 4 – Reflection
Having insight is great isn’t it? Knowledge is power, right!? BUT, what is the factor determining whether you evolve or stay where you are?
It is ACCOUNTABILITY. YOU HAVE TO HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE CHANGES THAT YOU WANT TO IMPLEMENT.

I am so excited and proud this weekend about my very talented and hard-working comedienne cousin Anna Morris. Anna has worked tirelessly NEVER EVER GIVING UP ON HER DREAMS. Anna’s dream was always to be a comedienne. Whatever we are dreaming of right now, so much is possible and magic is in the air.
Meet Anna, AKA Francesca, in the first ever episode of Bad Bridesmaid:
I love this quote from the late Isabel M. Hickey:
“Saturn, Lord of the World, in us all. Keeper of the Records. Lord of Karma. Dweller on the threshold but also the Angel of the Presence. Here is a mystery and when one pierces through the veil Saturn proves to be the Angel of Light that reveals the meaning of it all. He plays a dual role. The greatest mystery sign of the zodiac is Capricorn. If the symbol of Capricorn is made correctly you will see that it is made up of Aries and Leo. The head and the heart. Do you remember what is said in the scriptures? ‘The lion shall lie down with the lamb.’ When the head and the heart are united Saturn’s work is done. The lion is tamed and the lamb is the lamb of God. The goat becomes the unicorn (whose horn in the middle of the forehead depicts the third eye) and the going up to town of the old nursery rhyme (the lion and the lamb were going up to town) contains the secret of the going up of the human being to the door of initiation. The defeat of the king of beasts (personality) and the emergence of the Initiate dedicated to selflessness and World Service are shown.”
Apologies if you are receiving this twice! I had an issue with my website so quite a large number of people didn’t receive my thank you!
I took the day off yesterday, but reviewed my email in the evening. I know that I am often slow to get back to everyone, but I do read everything and respond as quickly as possible.
As I looked through my inbox, I felt lit up with excitement about the messages that people send me – from those with ideas and requests for new classes, to personal messages including updates and feedback on readings as things unfold. I realized how incredible my life is; how I am surrounded by wonderful people; and how honored I am to serve spirit.
I have already had so many amazing experiences and opportunities this year. From interview requests, to the publication of my first book, a magical work trip to Pennsylvania and some other great locations. I have also been touched by contact from people who are personally affected by my first book’s subject.
I am honored to work with Stephen Lewis on our exciting new weekly radio show looking at world events from a metaphysical perspective (and yes we make predictions about world events so tune in). I am so excited to work with Stephen on a new book about our predictions for the next 25 years or so. Stay tuned to hear more about it.
I also love working with the Psychic Access team and want to especially thank Doug who has been so encouraging and supportive of me for so long.
I even have incredible events in my life – it really is magical. From meetings about conspiracy theories to business discussions on the growth and development of Rhama: The Center of Healing Arts and Psychic Expansion.
I love working with the crystals and incredible products that we have at Rhama and thank Nancy for being a great business partner. At some stage, we plan to make Rhama products available in many more locations. I even saw a crop circle in the form of the channeled Rhama logo.
I looked at my list of website blogs and was reminded of amazing moments – the conversation with my guides in spirit as well as the incredible apport that cascaded through the ceiling at a seance and landed in my lap. Seeing that it was in the form of the Philosopher’s Stone (just after I had returned from an alchemy conference) blew me away.
I went to make a phone call and realized how many wonderful people are in my life. I realized how many great people spirit have put me in contact with in my spiritual work as I noticed cell phone numbers from people like Racha0el Salley, Lisa Williams, John Holland, and some of the world’s finest ever astrologers and leaders.
I am so delighted to get great quality classes online – I love producing them and love seeing everyone’s progress. To be quite honest, having students who can now accurately profile in-depth metaphysical data, transmuting it into accurate predictions and and appreciation of events as they occur in the world brings a tear to my eyes.
My guides told me that there can never be too many of us offering high quality spiritual and metaphysical services in this time of need and advancement. This is why I created a new class called “How to Create A Thriving Spiritual Business“. I have more great classes coming including “How to Predict Your Own Future” so stay posted! I am also loving the requests to go and teach in some exciting new places in the USA and abroad.
One of my greatest moments of appreciation comes when I receive formal inquiries about the prediction of world events. Somehow I am even grateful for the requests for help with poltergeists and possession. Everything represents an opportunity to make a difference.
I am working on two new books in addition to the one that I am putting together with Stephen Lewis. I am also involved in projects about compatibility analysis for dating and relationships, astrological research, metaphysical consulting for corporations (we need to be in there to drive change at a critical time), teaching workshops at United Metaphysical and participating in their Psychic Cruise.
I love seeing each person and their path in the world unfold as well as observing the interconnectedness of so many people in service. There are some very special and surprising examples and lots of exciting developments to come – I can even see individuals consulting in the corporate field that will take their innovations to many others.
From Latte and Metaphysics to Sphinxie lunches and the Brotherhood of Light, my life is truly MAGICAL and I want to thank you for being part of it.
Every person that I meet and speak with is special to me. Some have become incredible new friends; others are like family. I am very grateful to my family in the UK for always encouraging and loving me just as I am. I am also grateful to my family in the USA.
I realized that my busy but magical inbox is a microcosmic reminder of my wonderful life. I am grateful for everything.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Now I must go, but You Go too . In fact, let’s all go…
Please let me remind you lastly that we are all together. We are even connected closely to those that we love in spirit. When the moment is right, we are always reunited. My experiences of mediumship and passings this year have made me closer to wonderful people on earth and in spirit.
Here’s to creating a wonderful future together!
Here is a link to my radio show with Stephen Lewis last week in which we looked at current world events from a metaphysical perspective and made a number of predictions.
You probably know that my book ‘Thinking Completely Outside The Box’ is focused on metaphysical insight for the prevention of rampage killings. You see, metaphysics can provide deep and accurate insight into pretty much any situation you could think of.
Just yesterday Elliot Rodger went on a killing spree in Santa Barbara killing six innocent people. Rodger actually posted this video on You Tube, but the police did not consider him to be a threat… You are probably thinking ‘well if they didn’t consider this kid to be a threat, what would they consider a threat?’ Well, we are where we are – six more people are dead because of gun violence.
Let’s take a look at what was going on inside Rodger’s mind on his dreadful final day here on earth. I have not yet been able to identify his time of birth, but we do know that he was born in Great Britain. Even without his time of birth, my analysis shows that he was an enormous risk to society and that he was about to snap.
If you would like to learn more about its accuracy, you can tune in to my weekly radio show with Stephen Lewis in which we explore current events from a metaphysical perspective. OK, enough about that. Let’s get down to detail.
For those of you that are new to metaphysics or that have not read my book, let’s just say that high quality metaphysical analysis is like psychiatry on steroids. This is why I have psychiatry professionals asking me to profile individual patients. Unfortunately, law enforcement and crime prevention agencies are sitting firmly inside the box.
Now there are many astrological techniques used to assess a person’s mental health. One of them is to analyze the location of the prenatal eclipse in a person’s chart. Remember that the chart is a blueprint of the soul and the soul is the sum total of experiences and the manner in which they have been assimilated. Basically, we are looking at a map of the unconscious and not just part of it – all of it! We can see far more of a person than they will ever see of themselves. Helpful when considering risks associated with mental health right?
When we plot Rodger’s prenatal eclipse into his chart, we see that it falls right on top of the South Node of the Moon. What does this initial indicator tell us in a mental health assessment? RED ALERT – MORE INFORMATION REQUIRED URGENTLY. The South Node of the Moon is like a black hole in a challenging chart – the ancients called it the point of self-undoing because it is a point at which energy is sucked out of the chart. When this kind of formation occurs in a flowing aspect to Pluto (modern planet of death) in its own of Scorpio, the project status becomes ‘DROP ALL OTHER ACTIVITIES’. This particular eclipse is fascinating because its chart basically has nothing good in it. Another indicator of heightened risk is that the eclipse occurred at very high declination. In other words, it was very high above the equator which causes a loss of control. Again, not helpful…
There are many other reasons why I would rate Rodger’s chart as very high risk, but if I go through them all you would get bored unless you are an astrologer. One of the techniques that can be used is called midpoint analysis. What does Rodger’s mid-point analysis reveal? The kid basically had next to no hope of being sane in this lifetime. Clearly capable of following through on the threats in his You Tube video? Absolutely!
So in which period of his life was he most likely to completely lose the plot? The Mercury-Saturn firdar. Which period was he in? The Mercury-Saturn firdar.
We also analyze major progressed aspects to determine what is going in inside a person’s head (conscious and unconscious) at any point in time. But, to be honest you don’t even need to look at them in this young man’s case. The transiting planets alone in his chart say ‘run for cover’.
I love to analyze transiting eclipses because they describe a theme as it builds within a person’s psyche. If eclipses are occurring at very sensitive points in a person’s chart, we really take note. So, where did they appear in Rodger’s chart? Let’s just say that there was a full Solar eclipse on top of his Moon (mental state and impulses) recently. MAJOR PROBLEM!
If you don’t know about the cardinal cross, you can read about it here. If you overlaid it on Rodger’s chart, what would be your reaction? OUCH!
Pretty much all rampage killers in the last 25 years or so were either on or withdrawing from a cocktail of psychiatric meds. I am sure that we will hear more about this shortly with regard to Elliot Rodger.

“And there appeared a great wonder in the heavens; a woman clothed with the Sun, and the Moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.” The twelve stars are the signs of the zodiac, the twelve tribes of Israel (the sons of Jacob). When Jacob blessed his twelve sons he was referring to the twelve attributes of development for the human soul (Aries through Pisces). Jesus also had twelve apostles symbolizing a complete gathering (the developed soul)…
Here is a great 7 minute video clip about the tarot.
Have a great weekend!

I promised to send you a note about the cardinal cross and here it is…
A cross is a very challenging astrological occurrence that occurs when planets form a T – two planets in opposition with each other and another at a ninety degree angle. A cross of slow-moving planets is quite rare. The cross that becomes exact on April 20th 2014 involves Pluto (transformation/death), Uranus (revolt) and Mars (conflict/aggression). Even more challenging is the fact that Jupiter (good fortune) will move in to make this a square of four conflicting energies AND the Moon (emotions, impulses, and the general public) joins the club.
Remember that the cardinal cross is not new. It has been in place for some time and will remain active until 2015… However, tomorrow (Sunday April 20th ) it becomes exact which means that its dynamics are particularly intense. This is actually the fifth of seven exact alignments and they do increase in intensity.
So, what does this pesky cross mean?
As this is a cross between planets in Cardinal signs, we call this a cardinal cross which is particularly tough in my opinion because the cardinal signs involve action. BUT, please don’t panic! First of all, we always consider what we call major and minor progressions when deciphering what is occurring in a person’s chart or life. The cardinal cross is a transiting cardinal cross. The deep underlying conditions within you and your life are described by the major progressions and not the transiting planets. Transiting planets trigger underlying energies like a match lights the wick of a candle. Avoid making generalizations about the cardinal cross and what it might mean in your life. The only way to understand your personal circumstances and probable outlook is to interpret major progressions that may be triggered by transits (but not necessarily the cardinal cross). Remember as well that the different domains of your life described by the zodiacal houses carry differing amounts of energy. In other words, any transit carries a different amount of potential impact in your life depending on the house that it is transiting.
The cardinal cross is very interesting from the perspective of mundane astrology in which we focus upon world events. It is very likely that as it becomes exact (on the 20th of April this year), world events will be triggered. You can think of it as pent up energy becoming released as the air is released from a burst balloon. Again, where the impacts occur depends on the nations’ charts. Countries do have charts just as individuals do. These charts represent the mass consciousness of the nation in question. More often than not, the events of a nation are indicated by the leader’s chart.
You don’t have to be a metaphysician to know that we have problems on the horizon in the near and long term: oil and natural resource exhaustion, overpopulation, corruption (politics and finance), medical challenges etc. The cardinal cross is very likely to crystalize some of these challenges, but you really have to study the nations’ charts. The remainder of this decade presents challenges, but not as significant as the challenges that I foresee for the 2020s. This is why I am writing a book with Stephen Lewis about the 2020s outlook. In my opinion, the cardinal cross will certainly trigger some very significant global events on or around April 20th.
In the case of the US, I feel strongly that a dramatic political and economic challenge is brewing. This does not necessarily transpire on April 20th, but I am certain this it is on the broader horizon. When I analyzed the 2014 eclipse series in the US chart, I thought “ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch and ouch again”. If you are interested in me analyzing the dynamics of other nations or looking at correlations of the upcoming energies between nations, just let me know – I would love to hear from you.
Whatever is happening in your world, remember that good choices and positive thinking always help to some degree. Here are some things that you can do as we experience this universal grand cross:
- Be calm, take it easy and maintain your balance – avoid confrontational or risky situations
- Let go of thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and actions that do not serve you well
- Project loving thoughts of kindness to the world around you and to yourself
If you are not convinced that there is a significant economic and political problem on the horizon, take a look at these links:
Wising you love and optimistic thoughts this weekend and always.

I was looking at the bible last night and wanted to share these quotes with you:
God said in Genesis 1:14 that “He created the sun and moon and stars for signals.”
Proverbs 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.”
Psalms 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God.”
Eccl. 3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
“The heavens are God’s ‘handiwork’” (Psalm 8:3; 19:1). “He has all the stars numbered and named.” (Psalm 147:4)
“And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as SIGNS to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the Earth.” And it was so.” (Gen. 1:14-15)
“The HEAVENS declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows his handiwork. Day after day utters his speech and night after night shows his knowledge. There is no tongue or language where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the Earth and their words to the ends of the world. In them (the heavens) he has set a tabernacle for the sun.” (Psalm 19:1-4)
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.” (Eccl. 3:1-8)
Psalms 8:3 “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;”
Psalms 147:4 “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.”
Matthew 2:1-2 “…there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”
Luke 21:25 “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars;…”
I Corinthians 15:41 “There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.”
Email me your favorite bible quotes. I would love to add them to this list.
